Thank you so much for this information. I can't emphasize enough how important this was to me. Because I was so worried about failing in the game, I watched about 100 guides on how the supposedly best character is or should be built and never getting further than the Druid Grove in an attempt to min/max my play through. In the end, I realized that I ended up after many build guides with a lot of duplicate spells in my party and the members weren't well coordinated with each other. I've now learned that it shouldn't be about min-maxing, but rather just having fun. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the DND mechanics, but I still play on the "balanced" difficulty level. I actually wanted to play on the easiest difficulty level, but the multiclassing option is too important to me. For this reason I also installed two mods (more party members and up to level 20) to make it as easy as possible. I want to experience the story of the game and fighting is just a secondary consideration for me. But now I've had BG3 installed for about 6 months and I can't make any progress in the game because I first look at the corresponding guides before each level up. This creates more stress than fun. Maybe I'll be able to play through the game to the end with a character that isn't built perfectly. I still love your character optimization guides as orientation and assistance, but I shouldn't copy them in such a strictly dogmatic way. Sorry about my bad English, it's not my native language. Thank you so much for this relieving video for more fun and less stress. Looking at my personal preferences, I like Ranger (Beastmaster) and/or Monk (4 Elements) the most, even though these classes may not be the best in the game. But I just like the ideas, even if they are classified as the worse classes. Necromancers are often imagined as strong, but this goes against my personal views; so these builds are unimaginable to me... even if they were the strongest option in the game. And while it may not be the best multiclassing option in the game, I love the combination of Land Druid and Beastmaster Ranger, for example. I also tried Cleric Nature Domain and Druid in combination, in my opinion a rational combination... but in the end it didn't make sense due to a lot of overlap. The mod for more party members also allowed me to add a special thief (in addition to Astarion's skills as a Rogue Assassin / Gloomstalker Ranger). My thief is a hired Duergar from Withers and a combination of Rogue Thief and Shadow Monk on level 20 ... but I still get caught often ;-) I'm probably doing something wrong XD

I was always a Greek Cities player. When i tried the Scythians for the first time I fall in love with their army. Their colour is so good and aside from the great ranged units they have decent infantry. I dominated Thrace, Macedon and Greece pretty easy but had some difficulties with the Romans in the original so i will try them in the remastered to see how it goes.

Would you suggest pvp for a casual group? I want the added tension of pvp and to see how our castle fairs in a raid. Im just concerned we'd get dumpstered by people abusing mechanics/glitches who have much more knowledge of the game.

The tip I took the most to heart after playing D&D for 5 years and BG3 6 times over is to take your time. The game gets way harder if you try to speedrun through each area. Explore, loot, sell, experiment, and simply take your time. Homework helps, but pacing yourself helps infinitely more. If you have free time, play through an easier difficulty and make a road map of the items and quests you need first by difficulty of acquisition and by when you need it. Leveling is highly forgiving since you can respec. Lastly, when in doubt, save and close out/alt+f4. No shame in save-scumming an un-scummable save.

You can dip a thief berserker into life cleric and they’re a pretty decent healer while holding their own

Question: on physical weapons that do magic damage, is it worth it to go one or even two points Elven since those weapons do elemental as well..? Or just focus on that knockdown and strength?

I’m definitely fond of the straightforward pawns and their passive aggressive remarks. The only thing I hate is how the female pawn constantly says “Can you come here please?” without saying why.

I choose my Companions on Team Chemistry....Like Astarion and Lazeal are very different Characters and thats good because than Its Like a Movie Where all the Characters in your Team COULDN'T BE more different...and I think this is a great way to play

My approach is to finish one run in the way I intended it and only then start the next. Focus on one story at a time, and then try something else afterwards. You also don't get that much "burnout" / saturation of a specific part of the story because by the time you finish the run, Act 1 is already gaming hours / real life days away from you. :) Like, you have so many romances to try - and you can, one after another. :)

If you're going to play on a PvP server, start off with building a box for your base and keep your crafting stations inside of that box. There are a TON of ways for people to jump over small gaps or cliffs, and if they can get to your stashes or your castle heart, they can and will take your stuff or your entire castle. SO many people just cover the ramps to their bases with a single gate and then build out in the open plot of land, making it really easy for people like me to hop to the side of that single gate and land right in your space and rob you.

I just used mystic warrior with bound weapon and that perk which grants you more dmg in throwing and bare handed, got that glove for the +d4 but man, even with an 95% percent chance the critical erros are amazing, my luck is crazy. I was with the fish guy's spear, i also had one level in war cleric for that +d4 holy damage and bonus action attack very early game, twas amazing, the spear you get in Withers lair can carry you until you get another better throwing weapon

Wish Warhammer 3 really looked like it looks in the video, because the VFX/Magical Glows/smokes and fire look almost pixelated, it only looks like this in 2k resolution or up

Gameplay feel smooth. Bosses are challenging and unique. Many skill to pick and play. Progress Required farming, Graphic and Art design is flawless. Castle and garden building can be very beautiful and very boring. so Vrising is WORTH you could spend like 50+hours chilling progressing building killing and still have so much endgame content.

Your humour is brilliant, and yes V Rising is beautiful, special, and everything I want in a survival. I don't know much about the lore of the game, but I feel so immersed in a top-down, They did an amazing job with this game, and it was already special during early access. Great upload man!

SO you only get good at around lvl 11, and for 70 % of the game you are BY FAR the weakest caster damage dealer in the game? hard pass....

Why no blood of lathander

There are so many things i love about this game, but the best is the boss fights. Actually have alot of mechanics to dodge and get around. Other games bosses have like 2 abilities these bosses have quite a few, and that is what drew me in. And the building...OMG i suck at building, but this game makes building so easy that even my castle is coming along nicely, and i can build with ease. I have been in a slump for games, and this game has definitely filled the hole. There's just so much to do, lol. I start something, and then the next thing I know, i am 5 hours in, and like, holy cow, i gotta get off and go to bed, lol

I recommend starting as druid and picking up shovel from the blighted village and then level warlock after you finish leveling as you'll get access to summoning wayyy sooner. Warlocks familiars get an extra attack at level 5 yes but you could have more summons at level 5 with druid if you pick up shovel since at level 5 spore druids get animate dead and then at level 6 they get access to fungal infestation. As a necromancer I feel like you want animate dead specifically ASAP since theres an area in act 2 where you can summon undead for free without the need of a body as far as I know

I played the early access for about 60-70 hours and loved it, but got busy playing other games, I believe this was around the time of the pandemic lockdown. Recently I was getting the urge to return, then when I heard the 1.0 launch had just happened I was more motivated to start up again, then once I saw the Castlevania pack I was sold, and I’ve been playing nonstop for like a week

Another thing that has drawn me to V Rising is how clean and polished many aspects of it feel. The art is always spectacular and I've found myself zooming in to admire the details of the wallpaper or work station or a frozen fish container. The animation also feels smooth and clothing flows in satisfying ways, especially things like long hair or capes. Lastly, it can be hard to define that quality in a game where it just "feels good" to play, but I believe there has been a lot of effort put into V Rising to capture that. And sometimes those types of games will become favorites over similar titles simply because you associate them as a pleasant experience.
